Hey love, 

What happened to us? We used to be able to talk, able to play and do more, we used to be friends. How did we get here? words that once overflowed with the thickness of a forest now empty like a desert. The morning greetings, when they do come, do so in the most formal manner, no smile, sometimes no response.

I see your straight face and put up mine but deep inside I am hurt. I don't know if there's still something inside of you that I can do for these words of mine can reach out to but if such exists, please stay open so that I can reach you. Know also, that I am open and you can reach me.

Yes, I know we have tried and failed a few times but that's testament to our human flaws, wanting it all at back at the snap of a finger. Darling, we have both been hurt and we grow apart with each passing day, let us be gentle and take gentle steps back towards each beginning with this.

I want this, us, to work so I care not who is at fault, I just want to have us back, and with it, all we've built together which is now fading fast away even in memory.

My hand is stretched darling, please take it and walk this journey with me again so that we take on our challenges together as a team and win.
